GLUECIFER: DVD Release Date, Title Announced
September 14, 2004Norwegian rock 'n' rollers GLUECIFER have set a November 15 release date for their DVD, entitled "Royally Stuffed". The disc will feature "almost three hours of GLUECIFER stuff, including concert, big interview, all videos, GLUECIFER's own tour video plus plus plus," according to a posting on the group's web site.
In other news, GLUECIFER have confirmed CAPTAIN MURPHY and BONK as the opening bands on their upcoming European tour. "CAPTAIN MURPHY are from Stockholm, Sweden, and are one of the best bands to come out of that place for years," reads a posting on GLUECIFER's web site. "Very groovy stuff with a seventies feel, but not in a lame retro way. More in a cool, heartwarming way. Reports tell about excellent live shows too."
"BONK are from Oslo, Norway. Their debut album, 'Western Soul', is packed with great tunes played greatly by great people. One of GLUECIFER's favorite Norwegian bands this year."
In other news, Martin Kvamme's artwork for GLUECIFER's current album, "Automatic Thrill", is included in a book about sleeve and poster art. The book is called "Sonic Visuals for Music" and is published by Die Gestalten Verlag.
